Our earliest CleanCook stoves were distributed to families in 2001. We estimate conservatively that the life of the stainless steel stove is 10 years. We estimate that the life of the aluminum-body stove is 6 years. In reality, the stoves will probably last much longer. When properly loved and cared for, CleanCook stoves can provide families decades of clean cooking.

We believe that quality matters and we know that when families receive high-quality, efficient and modern cookstoves they take care of their stoves, which translates into many more years of clean cooking.
